School is on its way, and it is closer than ever for the incoming seniors. This means it's the time of the year where seniors should be preparing for college, if they are planning on attending. Now is really prime time to start to get ready. Here are some tips I have for my fellow seniors.
The biggest advice I can give is to make a spreadsheet. I was given this advice from my guidance counselor earlier this summer, and at the end of the day, it will help you out a lot. This will make it a lot easier to organize a things based on categories such as; whether or not schools look at SAT and/or ACT test scores, due dates for applications, the school dates, and whether or not you are given select candidate applications (specific applications given by the school as an invitation to apply).
It may not seem like it but the fall goes by in the blink of an eye, and it would be wise to get applications done as soon as possible, especially seeing that Early Action applications are usually due in early November.
With this year coming up really quick, it would be advisable to get ready as soon as possible. It is never too early, but eventually, it could be too late. Make sure you are all meeting with your guidance counselors and keeping up to date with everything going on!
Speaking of, make sure you seniors all get your portraits and pictures for the yearbook done as well!
I should be updating on Wareham Viking News talking about what all seniors should be doing, and making sure everyone is up to date with everything happening within the senior class! It's important to stay updated, at least. Because as soon as you know it, graduation will be right around the corner.
So lets make the most of this year while we can! Go class of 2021!
